Public courses

We try to keep this essential information as simple as possible. Please have a read through it before booking, to ensure you are happy with everything you are agreeing too!

Booking and cancellation policy (for courses or workshops costing less than £500)

Payment must be made in full at booking. In line with distance selling regulations, you may cancel within 14 days, in writing, and receive a full refund. If the course or workshop begins within  14 days of your booking, then your right to terminate expires once the course begins. Although your deposit becomes non-refundable after 14 days, we will at our discretion make every effort to offer you transfer to another course as an alternative to cancellation. There may be a 10% administrative fee for this.

A deposit of 20% of your total course fee is required to secure your booking. In line with distance selling regulations, you may cancel within 14 days of booking and receive a full refund of your deposit. If your booking is made less than 14 days before the course commences, then your right to cancel expires when the course begins.

Your final balance is due 14 days before the course begins, and once made is non-refundable, Failure to pay the balance as cleared funds before the course begins will result in your being denied access to the training, and your deposit will be forfeited. After a course has started, there will be no refund in the event of non-attendance.

We will always do our best to offer you a transfer to another course as an alternative to cancellation. There may be a 10% admin fee for this.

Trainers and venues

We reserve the right to change the advertised trainer for any course, and to make minor changes to advertised venues. In the very unlikely event of us having to cancel a course, we will offer you a transfer to another course at no cost, or if you prefer, a refund of any fees already paid, including your deposit. We are not responsible for any other costs incurred, such as accommodation or travel, and you are advised to arrange insurance to cover ancillary costs.

Privacy Policy

Please note we do not store financial information about you. Credit and debit card information is immediately entered into a secure credit card terminal, and thereafter we have no access to it.

Delegates’ responsibilities

All delegates will be asked to sign a form confirming that they are psychologically and physically fit to participate in the training, that they do so of their own free will, and that Charis NLP: NLP and Coaching Scotland, their agents, employees, associates, and other course participants shall have no liability for any portion of the training in which the delegate voluntarily participates.

All delegates will be asked to sign a form confirming that they are willing to abide by the standards and code of ethics of the accrediting bodies.

If a delegate violates these ethics, continually fails to respond to feedback, or grossly disrupts the training, then Charis NLP: NLP and Coaching Scotland reserves the right to ask them to leave the training. In this case, no refunds will be offered.

Please note that your fee is for training, and does not guarantee certification. However, we are committed to helping you achieve your goals, and will do everything we can to support you, including inviting you for reassessment at no further charge.

We operate an equal opportunities policy, and welcome and value diversity on our trainings. Please contact us in advance to discuss any special needs you have, so that we can work with you to ensure you have the opportunity for full participation.

Complaints

We do everything we can to provide you with a quality service. If you have any cause for complaint, please speak to your trainer in the first instance. Most things can be solved through discussion. If you are not happy with the response, then please do write to us at our office address, so that the matter can be investigated. We will acknowledge any such written complaint within 7 days.

Payment options 

For public courses, all payments are processed by Paypal. You can use either your credit or debit card.

Organisational courses

A purchase order number is required to confirm a booking. Terms are 14 days after delivery of service. Payment may be made by company cheque, BACS or Credit Card.
